Life, the Universe, and Stuff

Last Thursday, André arrived for a short visit after attending a course in Herndon, VA. (I'm very proud of him ranking third in the evaluation given to the attendees by this MIT instructor.) Lisa and I were very careful not to let Gianluca learn that he was coming, so when he stepped out from behing the guest-room door Friday morning, the poor kid turned pale with surprise. For nearly three days, Gianluca followed tio André like a puppy and, in return, he was much tickled and hugged. Alessandro had his share, too, so much so that I almost got jealous.

André's visit immediately followed Joy's visit, so we had a rocking family time from Monday through Sunday. I need to look around and try to find pictures of the kids with Joy to attach to this posting.
