Life, the Universe, and Stuff

And this, this is the mother of my children, the godess of lifegiving in my house, the one whose smile makes my heart skip a beat even after all these years (it all started in 1994). Now and then, looking at her makes me think of John Lennon's "Starting Over": "Why don't we take off alone, take a trip somewhere far far away, we'll be together on our own again, like we used to in the early days..." Well, we don't do that because we have two wonderful kids who want and need us very much. They're growing fast though and one of these days, it will be her and I, long walks on the beach, and quite a few gray hairs. And the little guy in her arms, he'll be there to toast to his loving mom and dad when we celebrate our 50th anniversary, I'm sure!
