Life, the Universe, and Stuff

The 2006 FIFA Word Cup is almost in its last stages. A number of teams have left the competition and we're now waiting for the quarter finals to start. Brasil bravely resists, in spite of the result driven playing style that doesn't reflect what the world expects from the Seleção Canarinho. Central Pennsylvania has been mostly oblivious to this incredibly exciting and infrequent competition. Our crew, which dresses up for every Brasil game and which sometimes puts up a quiet parade through Lewisburg after a victory, is seen here outside Rita's, an Italian ice joint. Mango Italian ice is good, but Brasil 3 x 0 Ghana is MUCH tastier!
