Beach rocks

We spent a week in Rehoboth Beach, DE recently. I was pretty impressed with the coastline of a state that often is called Delawhere. Actually, impressed is not quite accurate, I'm in love with the place. Rehoboth is a really nice place! We visited Lewes a few miles north, which is a terric place for walking around and hanging out at the marina. For about a year, I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with my body that causes me to feel quite a bit of joint pain. After a bunch of exams that showed nothing more than a vitamin D deficiency, a week at the beach did me wonders. We dug a bigger and deeper hole every day. We ate awesome Thrasher's fries, funnel cakes, fish & chips, crab cakes, all manner of fried food at Jake's, nice crepes at Café Papillon, and the most fantastic chirashi sushi at The Cultured Pearl. The week away from the office under the sun did for me what no medication has managed to do this whole year: I felt no joint pain for an entire week! I shared my excitement with my rheumathologist because it seems, after all, that this may be just a stress related thing. He doesn't believe it is just stress related, even after seeing exam after exam say all is ok. Guess what I believe in? In sun, in R&R with my family, and in eating good food (even if some of it is fried).
